Domain-Specific Vocabulary:

New vocabulary that is specific to a content area such as science, math, history, etc.

Prefix:

An affix place before a word, base or another prefix to change the terms meaning.

Suffixes:

An affix added to the end of a word or base.

Synonyms:

Words that have similar meanings.

Antonyms:

Words that have opposite meanings.
